Mama Says

Gracie had begun to sign! This makes mealtimes quite a bit more exciting around here with Mama, Daddy, and Josiah all doing the signs at the same time in front a staring baby girl....well, apparently she has caught on.  She uses the "more" sign interchangeably  with the  "eat/food" sign...and sticks her tongue in and out at the same time! Once we catch it on film, we'll give you a peek!

Yes, that's my curling iron....and the other hand is playing the air guitar.  This little musician brings his 'air guitar' to church and plays along to every song. He always wants to see the musicians so that he can perfect his strum. He's singing "Oh Come Let Us Adore Him"...almost yelling it....I got it on video but haven't figured out how to post those yet.

You probably already saw this photo from the Christmas section...but look at the next photo...it's so cute how he hold it with his feet!

Sister is catching on fast...this was while brother was napping...she can hardly get near it otherwise....I've got a video of her playing this....one day I'll figure out how to share them!

This happy little face is common site around our house these days...She is a "smile on demand"  baby who brings us so much joy!

I was so surprised to come into the living room yesterday and find this little munchkin had pulled herself up to sitting on her knees in front of the toy box!

Gracie had her first "solids" today! She wanted to chew on the spoon more than she wanted to eat, but she'll get the hang of it soon. =)

My little helper....He LOVES to use the sprayer and comes running if he hears me use it.  I'm trying to teach him to squeeze out all the water from the sponge before wiping the counter....Oh well...he's still learning!

This is what Gracie looks likes today; her first Thanksgiving! She's doing the G.I. Jane commando crawl these days. Yikes, they grow so fast!!

This is Josiah's new favorite phrase.  He says it especially when he receives foods that he really likes. Odwalla Superfood, frozen blueberries, fruit leather, Daddy's breakfast bars, pumpkin bread, strawberry yogurt; to name a few current favs. If he's hungry he'll say, "You would like some....." over and over until I offer back, "Would you like some______?"   One time I offered some crackers and he said, "That would be lovely!"  I think he got it from some book we've been reading. I'll have to reinforce that one!  My favorite response is, "Oh thank you, mama!", with a big smile. Normally I have to ask for my 'thank yous" so when they come unsolicited, it makes my day!
