I know, I know....most of you have moved on from this holiday....but I'm just now starting to get back to reality, and finally wanted you to see what we were doing during that season when you didn't hear from me for a while! I promise this will be the last!! "I have no idea what these are yet, but I'll put my mouth all over them to see what it tastes like!" "Jammin" with Grandma on "O Come Let Us Adore Him" "NO MORE PHOTOS"!!! You want to know what was going through my head when this photo was taken? Here's another bog that I'm enjoying...she is very similar to me in her natural-mindedness, and in other areas as well. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am! Keeper of the Home Last post I mentioned that I was on a random organizing adventure...for a friend's mom. I have to say that it is SO gratifying to get to the end result and transform someone's space from chaos to clarity (actually I think if I had my own organizing business that's what I'd call it 'Chaos to Clairty'). My favorite parts are the purging...reducing the amout of stuff left to put back in the same space, the creating cute homes for once dispersed items, and standing back to look at the finished work! I also prefer (very much) to work with someone than to work alone...sharing the decision making, enjoying the company, and congratulating each other on a job well done! (Thanks, Janel!) So I'm still recovering from Christmas around here....the change of schedules, the "to do list" that has piled up, trotting across the state to visit friends and family, and throwing in a random organizing adventure at a friend's house. Right now I'm in Seattle, and it's the day after a birthday party for my dad. It was a murder mystery party, salmon dinner, and to top it off we all read to him letters of appreciation we had written for the occasion. I couldn't get through mine without crying at several points... here's the last paragraph: |
